Review on “3D – Next Generation” Youth Exchange

As a follow-up after the Advanced Planning Visit with some delays due to the world pandemic situation we had finally chance to do an international in-person event after a while.

From 13 to 21 August in Bitola EKE Bitola with the partner organizations from Germany, Serbia and Turkey have implemented a youth exchange as main activity of the project “3D – Next Generation”. At the youth exchange took part participants from all the partner countries.

During the event participants have been working on improvement of their competencies and skills in the field of innovation and new technologies while exploring, learning and experimenting with the 3D printing. In the learning process they had opportunity to research pre-done or to design their own 3D designs which later on were printed on 3D printer. Beside they have learned basic skills how to operate with 3D printers, the participants had opportunity to improve their communication skills in English, work in intercultural environment and have sense the enterpreneur work ethics and work culture.

The project followed-up with local workshops for knowledge dissemination on the topic of 3D printing.

The project “3D-Next Generation” in general promotes European values, social cohesion and civic engagement in multicultural work environments. The project aim to tacklie the causes of unemployment, poverty, to improve education and increase social inclusion. Through the youth exchange the project promotes mobility for all participants and provide an opportunity for learning to improve the level of competencies and skills of the young people in the area of ICT as well as to foster quality improvement and innovation in education through transnational cooperation.
